An Australian-themed adult/all ages art therapy colouring book featuring Australian fauna, flora and insects.
About Stephanie Holm:
Stephanie Holm is a natural history illustrator who has always been fascinated by Australian fauna and flora, observing and drawing her subjects in both field environments and studio situations. In 2014 she graduated with a Bachelor of Natural History Illustration and a Faculty of Science and Information Technology medal from the University of Newcastle; she is currently completing her PhD in Natural History Illustration.
I’ve been bitten by the colouring bug, so when I received Wildscapes by Stephanie Holm for review from Murdoch Books, I was over the moon: a) because it’s Australian art and b) because it’s colouring in. My inner child celebrated the beautiful illustrations between the pages of this massive 88 page book. It has all my favourite Australian wildlife in it and best of all…a Spotter’s Guide! Stephanie has written a lovely introduction and the book is full of interactive tasks, not just colouring in. There are sketches you can add your own texture to, so let your imagination run wild. Children of all ages will love this beautiful form of art therapy. Thank you, Stephanie and Murdoch books for my ARC and hours of creative pleasure.
